A.L.L. is an acronym for ARTHUR LEE LAND and the ART of LIVE-LOOPING

The ART OF LIVE-LOOPING is a 21st Century live performance art-form consisting of recording, layering, mixing and arranging vocals, instruments and sounds in a live performance using digital looping (sampling) technology that plays them back in continuously repeating loops allowing musicians the freedom to create full songs on the fly in real time. It's like "digital plate spinning with sound" and is a perfect example of the "ADHD mind" at work!

ARTHUR LEE LAND’s lifelong musical journey has led him to a rare accomplishment in the world of popular music – genuine innovation. Arthur is a Lyons Colorado based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, Live-Looping Artist, Producer and Educator. He has toured for years as an unforgettable solo act using the Art of Live-Looping to create a full band sound by layering vocals and a multitude of acoustic and electric instruments. Arthur's inspirational and interactive assembly programs and music workshops have reached over 50,000 students in over 25 states across the country.

Describing Land’s music results in using genre defying terms like “Afrograss-Folk Rock" and “Electro-Americana." Equally unique is the creative songwriting collaboration with his non-performing lyricist and wife Carol Lee who contributes the majority of the lyrical content for “Arthur Lee Land." Her lyrics are influenced by writers like Robert Hunter and use naturalism, archetypal psychology and evocative story lines to draw the listener in. This unmistakably feminine presence gives their songs a breadth and complexity seldom rivaled in the work of solo writers.

In the fall of 2014 Arthur joined the Colorado Americana Jam band “Great American Taxi" replacing Vince Herman of Leftover Salmon. Also joined by drummer Duane Trucks (Hard Working Americans). Taxi just finished mixing their new album “Sunshiny Days" with 5 songs penned by Arthur & Carol Lee due out in early 2106 and produced by Tim Carbone of Railroad Earth.

When not busy with his own projects, Arthur has been in demand as a sideman and session guitarist playing with some of Colorado’s favorite artists: Bonnie Paine and Daniel Rodriguez of Elephant Revival, Benny “Burle" Galloway and blues violinist Lionel Young among many others. Arthur has shared the stage with several notable headliners including David Grisman, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Yonder Mountain String Band, Derek Trucks Band, Blues Traveler, ALO, Donovan, Leftover Salmon, Gatemouth Brown, Jr Walker, Richie Havens and more….. “This guy exudes musical magic!" —Steve Szymanski, V.P. of Planet Bluegrass (Promoters of Rocky Mountain Folks & Telluride Bluegrass Festivals)
